All of our programmes are based on a professional boxer’s training regime, with some modifications. Our philosophy is that in order to get the full benefits of boxing, your training should reflect that of a professional fighter. Whitecollarboxing.ie challenges you to challenge yourself.
Learn a new skill, get in shape, increase your strength and stamina, increase energy, reduce stress, feel more confident.
Most of our programmes are ran over a six to eight week period, and involve two 1-1.5 hour sessions a week. During this time participants will start by learning the fundamentals, i.e. the boxing stance, the basic punches and defence. Over the weeks participants will progress to bag work and school combat. The final weeks of the programme will be devoted to getting comfortable and confident in the boxing ring, with school boxing and sparring.
This does not mean you will be drinking raw eggs and hitting sides of beef, Rocky style! However, it does mean that we will hold you to the same standards we expect from a professional fighter.
You will adhere to a regular training schedule, eat intelligently, drink responsibly and live wisely. We hope that you always follow the guidelines and “Fight the Good Fight”!
